I'm learning about GIT, and I see this sentence I don't understand well nothing added to commit but untracked files present (use "git add" to track)

  1. "nothing added to commit" is a full sentence ? so which is a subject and a predicate?
  2. "untracked files present" is noun phrase? so what does "present" mean?

In the context of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Observer_pattern. The sentence below The observer pattern is a software design pattern in which an object, called the subject, maintains a list of its dependents, called observers, and notifies them automatically of any state changes, usually by calling one of their methods.
I wonder about some grammar.

  1. "in which" refers to what? and what does it mean?
  2. why "called the subject" is used instead of "call the subject",

I recommend finding a YouTube channel or Podcast that you are really interested in. Listen to it everyday. It's OK if you don't understand everything. Little by little, your listening will improve. Practice saying some of the things that you hear. Try to use the same pronunciation, rhythm, and intonation. It doesn't matter how much progress you make. Just put in a sincere effort every day. Even 15 minutes is enough. Just concentrate completely during that time and you will certainly make progress.
